Milwaukee Tennis Classic FAQ’s
1. Tournament schedule for men and women (may be adjusted at direction of tournament director for inclement weather or other factors)
a. Thursday, September 10, 2026 – 12 PM – 5 PM –tournament registration and practice
i. Men’s Coaches Meeting at Western at 3:15 PM
ii. Women’s Coaches Meeting at Nicolet at 5:00 PM
b. 9 AM Friday, September 11, 2026 – First round of doubles followed by first two rounds of singles.
c. 8 AM Saturday, September 12, 2026 – Doubles quarterfinals and semifinals followed by singles quarterfinals and semifinals.
d. 9 AM Sunday, September 13, 2026 – Doubles finals followed by singles finals (all at Western)
2. Tournament Locations (with parking information)
a. Men’s Draw – Western Racquet Club – 1800 Highland Drive, Elm Grove, WI 53122 (Park in any of the three levels in the parking lot left or north of the club)
b. Women’s Draw – Nicolet High School – 6701 N Jean Nicolet Rd, Glendale, WI 53217 (teams can park along the north side of the school west of the stadium and bus drop off areas. Spectators can park in the PNC Bank Parking lot at 7001 N Port Washington Road, Glendale, WI. Spectators can also park in the available faculty parking spots on the south side of the main lot after 8 AM). Everyone can park in Nicolet High School Parking Lot on Saturday. You may want to drop players at Football Stadium Entrance before parking. We will have golf carts to shorten the walk.
c. Men’s Rain Backup Site – Elite Sports Club – North Shore – 5750 N Glen Park Road, Glendale, WI 53209
d. Women’s Rain Backup Site – Elite Sports Club – River Glen – 2001 West Good Hope Road, Milwaukee, WI 53209 and Elite Sports Club – Mequon – 11616 N Port Washington Road, Mequon, WI 53092
e. Additional Rain Backup Site – Sprovieri Tennis Complex – Wellness + Helfaer Recreation – 525 N. 16th St., Milwaukee, WI 53233 (park on street or in parking structure on 16th Street north of Wisconsin Ave.)
3. Match Format (may be adjusted if inclement weather or Tournament Director decides)
a. Doubles is a compass draw with three guaranteed matches, if weather permits. The scoring format is one no ad set up to 6 with a 12-point tiebreaker at 6-6.
b. Singles is a compass draw with four guaranteed matches, if weather permits. The scoring format will be no ad scoring with best of three sets up to 6 with 12-point tiebreakers at 6-6. Dunlop Grand Prix Extra Duty balls or ITA approved equivalent balls are provided for warm-up and match play.
c. We will create the draw to keep teammates in different quarters and if we end up having teammates come up against each other in the semifinals, we will attempt to move the draw (unless it is the main front draw).
4. Bathroom Facilities at Each Site
a. Western Racquet Club – Bathrooms in Pro Shop next to courts and locker rooms available with bathrooms and showers in the main club house next to pool.
b. Nicolet High School – Bathrooms in concession building next to courts.
5. Live Scoring Information at www.ioncourt.com and draws will be updated on ITA site. We also plan on sharing a Google spreadsheet with the schedule of play and court assignments daily.
6. There will be athletic trainers available during the competition at each site
7. Practice Court Information for Thursday, September 10th (courts will be available each morning also)

8. There will be free WiFi networks at each site
a. Western – Guest Network does not need a password

d. Nicolet – On site stringer daily. If you provide string, the cost will be $23 per racquet. Stringer will accept Venmo, PayPal or cash.
